Lock the taskbar to stop it from being accidentally moved or changedYou just hate it when your taskbar is accidentally moved to the top of your desktop. Inexperienced users you have on your computer that usually happens. And if you are a new user myself, because everyone on the taskbar accidentally takes one time or another, do not worry. Taskbar easily on your desktop can be dragged to any position if it is not safe. You accidentally add or remove icons from the taskbar or on purpose can. The question is how we are being moved or changed in any way prevent the taskbar? It's easy, we just stopped taskbar.

Please follow the instructions for the above screenshot:
1. Get your taskbar at the bottom of the desktop.
2. Right-click in the empty space. On the screenshot above I have to click with a red cross is marked.
A menu will appear.
3. Sure there is a tick next to Lock the Taskbar.
4. If a tick down to the taskbar and select Lock. This will place a tick.

Lock the Taskbar in Windows XP, you can follow the same steps above.
What happens when you lock the taskbar?
When you lock the taskbar in Windows XP or in Windows Vista taskbar will stop. Intentionally or accidentally, you will not be able to move the taskbar. Your Quick Launch toolbar or you would not be able to resize your taskbar. There is no chance that you might accidentally taskbar if it is to be taken off.
